Andrew Mills
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor with a strong background in residential property and a clear, straightforward approach that clients appreciate.
He holds a BSc (Hons) degree and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). In simple terms, this means he has completed rigorous professional training and meets the recognised standards required to carry out RICS surveys.
Experience and Background
Andrew originally worked with Brian Gale Surveyors between 2019 and 2021. After gaining further experience with Ridge and Partners LLP, where he worked for just under four years, he returned to BGS in June 2025.
His time working both within an independent practice and a larger national firm has given him a well-rounded perspective. He combines technical knowledge with a practical understanding of the concerns homeowners and buyers often have when making property decisions.
Approach to Surveying
Andrew understands that buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, particularly for first-time buyers. He takes care to explain his findings in plain English, making sure clients are clear about:
- What he has found
- Whether it is serious or routine
- What may need attention
- The likely next steps
His aim is always to provide reassurance through clarity.
Outside of Work
Outside of surveying, Andrew enjoys keeping active. He spends his spare time playing and watching football, going to the gym and playing golf.
